This 4th of July weekend brought an unthinkable and unimaginable loss for our Texas families. Our hearts and constant thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones due to the flooding in south Texas and for those who still have children missing from Camp Mystic. We cry and pray with you.
We are grateful for the thousands of brave men & women that have rushed to help. We pray for their safety as they risk their lives searching tirelessly for every missing person.
We are grateful to live in a country that stands together in tragedy and have so many men & women that sacrifice their lives for others. Texas stands together. To the ones who have lost in a way that seems you will never move on or recover, you are in our prayers and we are so very sorry!!

Green Ribbons of Support
In solidarity and support for flood-impacted communities across Texas, The Colony Parks & Recreation Department has placed green ribbons around trees throughout The Colony, including City Hall, The Colony Fire Department, The Colony Police Department and multiple parks. These green ribbons are a visible symbol of support for the lives lost and those who are grieving the unimaginable.
“As you pass a green ribbon in the community, we ask you to remember and honor those in Texas’ Hill Country as they cope following this tragedy.”

Happy National Couples Day to our fearless leaders, Brent & Robyn! (A day late on spotlighting them, but how sweet are they?!)
Hope all of our wonderful couples out there enjoy their day and do something sweet to celebrate!

Had the opportunity to volunteer with a group of agents at Direction 61:3 last week to paint a house that will provide a safe & loving home for youth that have aged out of foster care. This is a wonderful organization and we are grateful for the lives they touch in this community.
