Dr. Brian Burgess is a board-certified podiatric surgeon who completed a three-year residency in trauma and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. He specializes in conservative and minimally invasive treatments for foot and ankle conditions, including Achilles tendon disorders, ankle sprains, bunions, heel pain, and fractures. Dr. Burgess emphasizes evidence-based care and uses injections, orthotics, bracing, and physical therapy before considering surgery. He is also dedicated to education, frequently lecturing nationwide and training students, residents, and fellow surgeons in advanced techniques.
