About us
Dr Gelb completed his BS at the University of Michigan, and his medical education at The Ohio State University. While at Michigan, he spent a semester at the historic biological field station on Douglas Lake and realized his love for Northern Michigan. He completed his residency in Columbus where he was chief resident of his class in Emergency Medicine. After returning to Northern Michigan he spent the 14 years as an Emergency Physician, and served on and chaired the hospital's quality committee, served on its medical executive committee, and as the ED medical director. In 2016, Dr Gelb was invited to further Dermatology training by his colleague Dr Murray Cotter and has since committed his practice to dermatologic conditions.
