READ THIS BEFORE YOU RENT FROM BRINKMAN PROPERTIES! I rented on Onyx Way for 5 years , I paid 900 a month rent and I never paid late, not once in five years. I moved out after purchasing a home. Because I was no longer on a lease I gave 30 days notice and I cleaned the apartment and left the property in excellent condition. I told them to keep the security deposit to cover the ten remaining days in August and the cost of repainting the walls( I had painted them in designer colors). Now I have received a bill for nearly $2000 . They are charging me for a full months rent , for nails holes, for putting up curtain rods. They even expect me to pay a fee for Lawn repair between their buildings, I have never damaged any lawn. I intend to fight these charges in court if necessary because I took pictures of the property before I vacated it. I left the property in better condition than it was when I moved in, they didn't even clean the blinds before I moved in and now they expect me to pay...
