About us
Dr. Brittany Johnson is the CEO of Avery's Mental Health. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at LSU Health Science Center in 2013. After working in various healthcare settings, she decided to further her career as a Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree as an Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. After realizing how many of her patients in the general hospital setting required mental healthcare that was often undiagnosed, she then furthered her career again obtaining a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree in 2022. Providing excellent care and serving her patients was the driving force of her educational achievements.
