Brown Bolt & Nut, or BB & N, was established in 1951 in the city of Hollydale, California by Emerson C. Brown. Brownie, as he was affectionately referred to by most of his costumers, moved out from New York in 1936 and, after working sales for a few companies, decided to try his own hand in business ownership.
