About us

I knew early on in my life I wanted 2 things: to be a father and a doctor. Through my personal experiences early in my adult life, I chose to be an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon (OTS) . I was a college baseball player majoring in biology and chemistry. Due to my athletic career and my involvement in many sports, I was unfortunately injured and thus experienced orthopedic treatment. Through this experience, I knew this was the area of medicine I wanted to practice. I enjoy being an OTS and being able to connect with my patients in a deep, meaningful way.

With trauma, you meet people who were, for the most part, living normal lives, but through an event are suddenly thrust into physical uncertainty. It became apparent to me that to be the best OTS I could be, I needed the best training. For that reason, I spent 17 years getting trained, ensuring I could deliver the best possible outcomes for my patients. I’m always concerned with the technical component of surgery; however, just as important for me is to ensure the patient and their family know what the treatment plan is and how we’re going to get the best possible outcome for the patient.
