About us

I am a second generation practicing arborist, an Albuquerque native, and a founding member of Think Trees NM. I have several national certifications including International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Board Certified Master Arborist, Utility Specialist, Municipal Specialist, and Tree Care Industry Association CTSP (Certified Tree Care Safety Professional). I am passionate about trees and their care. I love trees and talking to others about the planting, maintenance, and the value that trees contribute to our world. My lifetime professional goal is to learn more, and be better able to care for trees, and through my association with Think Trees and related professional associations Ive been able to meet, and learn from, many of the great people involved in the care of trees. Dodie has supported my interests and facilitated my life-long love of trees. For the past 17 years Ive been caring for the trees on the University of New Mexico campus, learning about trees and loving almost every day of it.
