About us

Burckhardt of Switzerland AG was founded in Basel in 1941, its core business being combs for the textile industry.

Over the years, the range of pinned parts continuously increased and was complemented with drilled parts. Within the last few years, we have also added the production of perforating machinery to our assortment.

The production site in Basel is equipped with the most advanced CNC machines – among them many special machines developed by our own engineers. Thanks to highly qualified personnel, we are able to produce a wide ranging program of machines and tools. In addition, we design innovative and special precision parts with pins and holes amongst others. Our products are delivered as original equipment to machine manufacturers and producers of technical textiles or plastics.
