About us
Cape Henry Racquet Club, founded in 1974, is a premier sports facility in Virginia Beach, VA, offering 2 indoor and 3 outdoor clay tennis courts. Originally built by passionate tennis players, it has a rich history, including significant renovations in 2009 and a conversion of two courts into indoor tennis in 2014. In 2023, Cape Henry Sports and Entertainment took over, adding 4 pickleball courts. The club's tradition includes a unique method of court maintenance, and a beloved Labrador named Zach helped players find tennis balls. Cape Henry Racquet Club also hosted the member-guest "Munchy Open" tournament. The club's name honors the local Cape Henry, a historic area of Virginia.
