About us
For 50 years, the CARA - Capital Area Recreation Association has been at the heart of outdoor sports and recreation in Augusta. What began as a modest effort with one Little League and one Farm League field has grown into a thriving local recreation facility nearly a mile long. Unlike many recreation areas, CARA is entirely volunteer-run-built, expanded and maintained through the tireless efforts of local citizens, businesses and contractors.
