About us
Carmen M. Klass, MD, PhD moved to the United States in 1996 from her native Germany to become a Research Fellow in Cell Biology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and complete her cancer training at the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University in Atlanta where she received numerous honors for her clinical skills and research. Specializing in the treatment of breast and gastrointestinal cancers, Dr. Klass is actively involved in cancer research and clinical trials to find a cancer cure and provide her patients with the most advanced cancer treatment available in Georgia. Dr. Klass provides patient-centered cancer care at NGOC’s Marietta Cancer Center and Cherokee Health Park.
