About us

Caroline Bekele, M.D. received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Florida A&M University, and a Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences at Florida State University College of Medicine. She went on to earn her medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee, FL. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Bekele completed her Family Medicine Residency at WellStar Atlanta Medical Center. She also served as Chief Resident while at Wellstar AMC. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Bekele specializes in the outpatient management of both acute illness and chronic disease. She has a keen interest in preventive medicine. Originally from Tanzania, Africa, she enjoys cooking traditional Tanzanian cuisine. She also enjoys traveling, exercising, playing soccer and spending time with her family. Dr. Bekele is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
