Carrie Ritenour, PA-C

Carrie Ritenour is a certified physician assistant specializing in gastroenterology at AHN Medicine Institute. Her clinical interests include irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, and gastroesophageal reflux disease. A native of Westmoreland County, she focuses on building strong relationships with her patients.

She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology, which helps her understand the interplay between mental and emotional factors and the mind-gut connection. She also earned a Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of PAs, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants.

Carrie sees patients aged 18 and up and speaks English.
