Opened in 1989 by three nurses with the goal of supporting local seniors unable to live alone but desiring to maintain their independence, our homes continue to earn awards and recognition for our special mix of expert care in a family, home-like setting.We were named “Best of the Best” four times by the well-known Assisted Living Federation of America, a nationally-recognized senior living organization, including in 2009 for our strategic planning process, and again in 2010 for our Charm School initiative. Castle Country was one of only 15 senior communities nationwide selected for this honor, and the only Colorado community to ever receive this prestigious national award.We’re in a category all our own, offering the same care found at larger organizations but with a special twist.
