About us

About half of the 40-acre on-site organic farm is leased to an organic dairy farmer. The beautiful riverside areas are great for roaming, nature watching, and fishing. Take the kids fishing when they come up for a visit! And take 'em on a golf cart ride around property as well! There's plenty for them to do here in the area. A century-old barn and produce store still proudly stands on site, linking the present property to its enduring agricultural heritage.
Summer nights are cool and crisp; you can leave your air-conditioner back in the city. Fall is gorgeous and invigorating, and winter brings skiing (both cross country and downhill, only ten miles away) and other winter time activities. It's also a great place for strolling, hiking, golfing, fishing.
Today there are a lovely group of both retired folks and seasonal nature lovers who enjoy a peaceful life here in the mountains. There are a few long-time area residents and others are originally from lower New York State and New Jersey who love the area and want to vacation here.
