Cemil Purut, MD, joined TMH Physician Partners - Cardiothoracic Surgery in 2025 with advanced training and extensive experience in complex heart and lung procedures. He earned his medical degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina where he also completed his residency and fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery.
Dr. Purut specializes in minimally invasive and open-heart procedures including coronary artery bypass surgery, heart valve repair and replacement and surgery for thoracic conditions. He is committed to delivering the highest quality care and helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
TMH Physician Partners - Cardiothoracic Surgery sees patients at the Archbold Specialty Clinic in Thomasville twice a month.
