Chanika Porter, DO, is a family medicine physician with the AHN Primary Care Institute, specializing in women’s health, pediatric care, and preventive health. Dr. Porter provides comprehensive care with services such as Nexplanon and IUD insertions, as well as basic skin procedures, including biopsies, incision and drainage (I&D), and ingrown toenail removal. She is skilled in osteopathic manipulative treatment and incorporates lifestyle medicine approaches to promote overall wellness.
Dr. Porter earned her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia, and completed her residency at UPMC St. Margaret in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
