Dr. Charles Teixeira is infectious disease specialist who received his training in infectious disease locally at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He attended the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg Virginia and then received his training in internal medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He is interested in wide range of infections including HIV, hepatitis C, and complicated difficult to treat bacterial infections.
