About us
A Charleston local carpenter and craftsmen, Matthew Montgomery was inspired to start the Charleston Nail Clipper Company when he suffered a stroke of his own. After facing the unique challenge of trying to cut finger and toe nails with the functionality of only one arm, he knew that there had to be a better way to help people with accessibility and self-care.
Hand crafted with care, our nail clippers are designed to improve the quality of life for anyone who struggles with gripping challenges. Individually hand made with exotic wood and high quality stainless steel clippers, they’re more than just a way to keep nails cut; they’re a means to self-sufficiency, providing the autonomy to prioritize grooming with ease.
