Cheatham's Garage

I came to this garage based on the recommendation of another mechanic. After my and my friends' experiences, all I can figure is that Cheatham's gave the other guy good service because they knew he was also a mechanic.

I took my car to Cheatham's because there was something wrong with the exhaust (it was really loud), and an oil leak. It sat there for 3 days before anyone ever looked at it. No one ever called me; I had to keep calling to check on it. Eventually they looked at it, and told me the whole system was trashed and needed replacing. They said it would be impossible to fix for under $1000, probably more like $1500. I decided not to do it, and just live with a loud car. They fixed oil leak. Now, a few months later (and with an even louder car), my oil is leaking again. I took it to another shop, who said I only needed to replace a $50 pipe to fix the exhaust.
