About us
What makes Dr Benner excited to come to work every day? She gets excited for the opportunity to care for patients and make a positive impact on their life. Dr Benner's personal experience with illness during her college years significantly shaped her approach to medicine. She went to many different doctors and hospitals, but they kept giving her the wrong diagnosis. She finally received an accurate diagnosis from a doctor who truly listened to her concerns. This experience made her want to become a doctor who listens to patients. Even as a young person, Dr Benner always loved being around kids. When she decided on a career, she knew she wanted to combine her love for helping children with her interest in science and medicine.
