Purchased the Jaguar XJR Select Certified 12/09/08. Traveled from Washington, DC to NJ via rail train. Car had about 800 more miles than stated before arriving.
Dealership delivered tags almost 2 weeks after expiration which caused me to receive tag violation charges from DC DMV.
Overcharged tax and registration fees by $100.00+ and then made up an additional fee (not explained) to cover the difference despite proof from DC DMV that they overcharged. Numerous problems found on Select Certified car which required a technical service bulletin fix (could not reliably drive the car), broken rear lighter sockets, 3 out of 4 broken side marker lights(corroded and need to be replaced $500.00), and a broken windshield washer. Oil needed to be changed less than two months after purchase because it was low and dirty. Told by salesman that we would have to drive back to NJ during normal weekday business hours to have items fixed. This would cost more than twice as much than paying for it...
