About us
Dr. Chibueze Onyemkpa is a cardiothoracic surgeon who treats patients ages 21 and older. He is committed to understanding a patient's underlying cardiac issue and identifying the best treatment recommendation. Dr. Onyemkpa specializes in coronary artery bypass grafting; surgical treatment of valvular heart diseases; and aortic surgery.
His research interests include coronary artery bypass grafting, aortic surgery, and health disparities in cardiac surgery.
Dr. Onyempka is an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
