I have a deep interest in psychology: why people do things, what our motivations behind our actions are, where fear originates, how fear is expressed, the process of self-reflection, how we project our feelings and color our understanding of our world/life/situation/relationships. Coupled with this love for a deeper understanding of the self is my passion for “the quest of excellence”. I find great inspiration in individuals who dedicate their lives to their passion and stop at nothing until they achieve their goals. I believe all people are capable of excellence. Further, I am inspired by mythology, colors & color theory, music, and cinema.
Through self-portraits and photographing others, I explore these themes in psychology and create works that hopefully inspire viewers to relate these themes to themselves and motivate them to move forward.
