Christopher B Mears

Chris Mears has been a plaintiff’s trial lawyer in Orange County for almost 33 years. He is AV rated and has tried over 70 cases in Superior and Federal Courts throughout California. His practice has emphasized medical malpractice, serious personal injury and death cases, wrongful termination, insurance bad faith, and police excessive force cases. He has twice been named Personal Injury Trial Lawyer of the Year by OCTLA, and received the same honor from ABOTA. He is also a recipient of the State Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award. Chris is a Past President of Orange County ABOTA, and has served on the Irvine City Council, the Orange County Fire Authority Board, and was Chairman of the State Boxing Commission.

Chris Mears lives in North Tustin with his wife, Michelle, and devotes a good deal of his ‘spare’ time to New Hope Presbyterian Church in Orange, where he also sings in the gospel choir. He is also crazy about his two dogs.
