About us
Claro Palma, MD received his medical degree from the University of the Philippines, in Manila, Philippines. He completed internal medicine internship, then residency in Internal Medicine at the Worcester City Hospital in Worcester Massachusetts. He completed his fellowship in Immunology and Rheumatology at the University of Missouri - Columbia. Dr. Palma is a member of the American College of Physicians, board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine / Rheumatology and is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist through the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. Dr. Palma specializes in adult rheumatology and provides specialty care in diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of inflammatory and autoimmune disorders including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, pseudogout, polymyalgia rheumatica, giant cell/temporal arteritis, osteoporosis, systemic lupus, polymyositis, dermatomyositis, Sjogren's syndrome, Wegener's granulomatosis, and vasculitis. Dr. Palma welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
