Our company was established in 1991 by former chemical tanker risk managers. Mark Vaccaro, the president of Coastal States, been to sea on tankers, worked ashore for a major chemical tanker ship-owning company, and he has been with Coastal States since 1993. Our aim has always been to utilize the background and skills of our staff to take a creative approach toward problem solving. We have never been satisfied with maintaining the "status quo". CSI is considered by many in our industry to be a leader in developing innovative insurance products designed to meet the needs of our clients.
