In Aug. 2012, Jerald Dougherty (DBA Colorado Furniture Repair Co.) verbally agreed and invoiced to refinish an armoire. He never performed the service, returning the armoire two months later (leaving it, unannounced, in the driveway.) Jerald did not return my calls, nor email, requesting that he refund the $150 deposit that I gave him at the time he picked up the furniture. A report was filed with the Better Business Bureau; Jerald ignored the request. An attempt to serve him with small claims paperwork failed; the person who answered the door at 12875A Rusk Lane indicated that Jerald Dougherty no longer lived there. As of Jan. 2013, “Colorado Furniture Repair Co.” has never been listed as a business with the state of Colorado. Do NOT do business with this person!
