At Community Care Resources (CCR), we are a trusted statewide foster care agency dedicated to addressing the effects of childhood trauma. Our treatment foster care program is specifically designed to offer healing in a loving and structured home environment for children who exhibit heightened emotions and behaviors.

As one of the largest private foster care agencies in Wisconsin, we currently have foster parents located in 35 counties, providing care for over 120 children. Our foster parents are trained in trauma-informed care techniques and principles, enabling them to support children between the ages of 2 and 18, including sibling groups. We ensure that all our families receive 24/7 support and weekly in-home visits.

With over three decades of experience in caring for neglected and abused children, we firmly believe that the key to helping a child recover and heal from trauma lies in providing a loving and stable family environment, supplemented by our comprehensive foster care support services. We understand that children with trauma histories often require specialized care beyond excellent parenting skills, and our dedicated staff is here to assist.

Each member of our management team has demonstrated unwavering commitment to CCR throughout their careers. They all possess Master's degrees in social work, and our five supervisors have been with us for over 22 years. Additionally, our Clinical Case Managers have an impressive average of 16 years of employment with CCR. Our staff members' long tenures reflect their dedication and expertise, just as our foster parents demonstrate their commitment by fostering teen girls since our agency's inception in 1989. We are truly grateful to work alongside these remarkable foster parents from across Wisconsin.

At CCR, we prioritize providing our foster parents with in-depth trauma-informed care training and ongoing education. We ensure that each foster family receives the necessary training to effectively care for the children placed in their homes. In fact, upon licensure, 100% of our new foster parents express feeling prepared and confident to welcome a child or sibling group into their home. Moreover, we organize continuing education classes and foster parent support groups, both online and in-person, throughout the state. These opportunities not only foster knowledge-sharing among foster parents but also allow them to feel valued as members of a dedicated team of professionals.
