Comprehensive Retina Consultants is a retina practice directed by board-certified retina specialist and surgeon, Dr. Shalesh Kaushal. Located in The Villages, FL and serving the communities of Ocala, Leesburg, Inverness, and Tavares, Dr. Kaushal uses advanced technologies and techniques to diagnose and treat a variety of retinal conditions and diseases. He is skilled in treating patients for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, vascular occlusions, macular holes and puckers, retinal tears and detachments, and more. With extensive knowledge and a unique approach, patients from across the U.S. visit Dr. Kaushal for treatment due to his profound understanding of the retina and how it functions. Dr. Kaushal attended Yale University and Johns Hopkins University before traveling abroad to continue his ongoing education, research, and training. He proudly opened his Ocala, FL retina practice in 2018.
