Treating a variety of animal species including domestic furries, livestock, wild and exotic animals, Dr. Leonard's practice is to use natural and alternative therapies for preserving or recapturing wellness, and using conventional drugs and vaccines only when necessary. At Concord Veterinary Services the emphasis is on cooperating with the regenerative intelligence already resident in every animal, and rather than treating symptoms in isolation, Dr. Leonard prefers a practice of deeper diagnosis that looks from multiple angles at the whole life of the animal.

With a deep conviction that animals deserve our respect and loving attention, Dr. Leonard engages the guardians of the animals so that they will be partners with her in the care of their beloved companions. Focusing on the quality of life for each individual animal, Doc employs whichever method she feels is most appropriate to each individual case, whether that be homeopathy, flower essences from Green Hope Farm, Reiki, or communication with the animals themselves.
