About us
Constance Williams Studio is located in the heart of the River Arts District of Asheville, North Carolina. Constance paints and sculpts in the encaustic medium which is made of beeswax, tree resin and pigment. The medium was developed by the Greeks nearly 5,000 years ago.
Using these ancient techniques with a contemporary style, she transforms her encaustic paintings into lustrous, vivid works of art. Her art is consider sculptural due to the painting's three dimensional surface.
