Why Ivorytuna?Ivorytuna combines an old joke and an even older expression. Back when keytops were actually ivory, Tickling the ivories was a playful reference to playing the piano.As for the tuna, the joke goes Sure, you can tune a piano, but can you tune a fish? (tuna fish)The answer?Of course I can, that is what the scales are for.While I certainly like sharing an old joke with our Grand and Upright customers, I take piano care seriously and I keep my skills up-to-date. And while your piano may not be in one of the concert venues I service, it is somewhere even more important, your home, school, or church.
