About us
The Creative Arts Center of Dallas (CAC), located on Laughlin Drive, has provided first-class art classes to all student levels, from teenagers to senior citizens for 50 years. Founded by Mexican American artist Octavio Medellin, the art school has deep roots in the city and looks to become one of the foremost visual arts education facilities and community arts organizations in North Texas. We have more than 40 instructors who are locally and nationally known professional artists that offer more than 500 art classes and workshops like pottery classes, jewelry making, painting, sculpting, and more to roughly 1,500 students per year.
