About us

Custom Prescriptions, established in 2001, is an independently owned compounding pharmacy located in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Compounding is the art and science of creating a customized medication to meet the individual needs of a specific patient. While compounding has been standard practice since ancient times, its ability to treat a wide range of patients has never been timelier.

Custom Prescriptions was created with patient care as our primary focus. Our pharmacy uses only high grade pharmaceutical materials in our compounds. We strive to ensure the accuracy and potency of every compound that is created in our laboratory. We have strong relationships with both the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP) and the Professional Compounding Centers of America, a well-established compounding consulting corporation. Our affiliations with these groups ensure that our pharmacy meets the highest standards of quality and receives the newest information necessary to constantly refine and improve our services.

Compounding is critical for patients who require specialized treatments. Among our services, we can compound medications no longer commercially available, create an oral liquid for easier dosing, or customize a capsule to a strength better tolerated by a patient. We have many resources to research medications and dosages that best fit your individual needs.
