Dr. Gottlieb is a board-certified gastroenterologist and internist who combines traditional physical diagnosis and history taking with bedside point-of-care (POC) office ultrasound. In addition to basic gastroenterology training, he has completed additional advanced fellowships in ERCP (pancreas and bile duct procedures) and EUS (endoscopic ultrasound). He is the author of the textbook “Diagnostic Endosonography” which examines how endoscopic ultrasound can be used to arrive at a diagnosis in particularly challenging circumstances. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA).
