About us

Daryl K. Knox, MD, is a skilled, experienced, board-certified psychiatrist and advocate for individuals with mental and behavioral disorders. He takes an empathetic and patient-centered approach to care in his clinical practice, using evidence-based practices. He works in a multispecialty setting, collaborating closely with other specialists. His patients value his professionalism and accommodating style.
Knox is also an associate professor of psychiatry at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He is active in local, state, and professional societies and has received state and national recognition for his service on behalf of his profession. He has appeared on numerous local media outlets for his expertise on mental health issues.
Knox received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed his residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Outside of work, Knox enjoys traveling, reading, and fitness.
