About us
Dr. David Cheeran is a cardiothoracic surgeon at the Sands-Constellation Heart Institute at Rochester Regional Health. A graduate of Jarwaharla Institute of Medicine, Dr. Cheeran completed medical school at the Jarwaharla Institute of Medicine and then his internship and residency at the Postgraduate Medical Institute of Medical Sciences in Pondicherry, India. He also completed residencies in General Surgery, Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. He completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Surgery at the Texas Heart Institute.
Dr. Cheeran is board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He has been practicing as a cardiothoracic surgeon at Rochester General Hospital since 1987.
