About us

David E. McNeely III, MD, is a general cardiologist and cardiac imaging specialist with Carolina Cardiology Consultants in Greenville, South Carolina. He currently serves as medical director of cardiovascular imaging for Prisma Health–Upstate and specializes in cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, and structural imaging. His clinical interests include cardiovascular prevention, lipid management, congestive heart failure, ischemic heart disease and valvular/structural heart disease.

Dr. McNeely is a native of northeastern Tennessee, and graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill and his cardiology fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
