About us
Dr. David Minton is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society and the Florida Medical Association.
Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, Dr. Minton attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, where he was awarded a baccalaureate of science in chemistry, magna cum laude, in 1984. He went on to earn his doctor of medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey, in 1988. While he was in medical school, Dr. Minton worked as a Mental Health Specialist at the UMDNJ Mental Health Clinic.
