About us
Dr. Puente earned her medical degree from the Penn State University College of Medicine and completed both her internship and residency at Ochsner, where she served as chief resident. She is board certified in internal medicine and has been on staff at Ochsner since 1987. Dr. Puente currently serves as Ochsner's regional medical director of Southshore community hospitals.
