Dr. DeCaro and Dr. Paknia provide not only the finest general podiatric care, but Dr. DeCaro’s specialty and passion for pediatric podiatry sets our practice apart from the rest. In fact, we have arguably the largest pediatric podiatry practice in the country-with influence spanning the globe.

Dr. DeCaro has devoted the last 23 years to growing the pediatric side of our practice into a worldwide authority on pediatric podiatry. His vision-to diagnose, treat, and educate children, parents and practitioners on pathologies affecting younger patients’ lower extremities-has been fully realized. Dr. DeCaro has created a first rate pediatric foot clinic where, working with a team of specialists, he can thoroughly evaluate a child’s gait and biomechanics and provide effective treatments to remedy any pathology.

Dr. DeCaro has also helped develop a patented “foot-typing” system. It is presented in a format that is easy for parents and kids to understand. What’s more, it is an invaluable tool for differentiating between common pathological foot-types. He has also been instrumental in the development of LittleSTEPS: an affordable line of custom pediatric orthotics for his patients.

As President of the American College of Foot & Ankle Pediatrics, Dr. DeCaro’s work is highly influential across the country, and internationally as well. He has been published in many podiatric periodicals, and has lectured hundreds of times throughout America and around the world.
