Dennis Wigle, M.D., is a thoracic surgeon at Mayo Clinic's campus in Rochester, Minnesota and serves as the chair for the Department of Thoracic Surgery. His clinical focus and interest includes: esophageal cancer, lung cancer and mesothelioma. Additional interests include minimally invasive surgery, esophagectomy, lung volume reduction surgery, robotic surgery, minimally invasive thymectomy, segmentectomy and video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS).
