About us
Derek Metcalfe, M.D. is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist & Cataract Surgeon at D’Ambrosio Eye Care. Dr. Metcalfe earned his Medical Degree at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston followed by a Residency in Ophthalmology at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester where he was Chief Resident. Dr. Metcalfe provides comprehensive medical, surgical, & laser eye care including laser cataract surgery & lens implants to correct astigmatism.
Dr. Metcalfe sees routine and complex eye exams, specialized eye exams for eye health and vision such as dry eyes &eye allergies, laser cataract surgery & lens implants, diagnosis & treatment of glaucoma, floaters, diabetic eye exams and age related macular degeneration (AMD).
