About us
Dr. Kelly received his medical doctorate from the University of Cape Town in South Africa and did an internship in Cape Town for a year. He then completed his residency-equivalent training in London for two years before coming to the United States. Dr. Kelly completed his pediatric residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, IL and completed fellowships at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, NC in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
Dr. Kelly enjoys his work with young children who have developmental challenges. He learns from his patients and families daily as he supports their care journey. Dr. Kelly has been instrumental in starting a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship Program at Prisma Health for physicians interested in this sub-specialty. He is married with three adult children and enjoys his time outside of work gardening, traveling and exploring new places.
