The lifelong passion of our owner and founder, Todd Dickerson, started when he was just 14 years old. At this time, Todd was introduced into the auto repair industry and it has encompassed his life now for over 36 years. When Todd was young and would receive a new toy, the first thing he wanted to do was take it apart to see what made it work. This curiosity for the mechanical side of things later progressed to bicycles, the family lawn mower, and eventually to cars and trucks - and so Todd’s story began. Todd landed his first job in an auto repair shop at the age of 14, working after school at a small Service Station. Todd continued his career in the automotive repair industry after high school. At the age of 22, Todd took a position at a nearby Pontiac and Cadillac Dealership. This is where his skill set was refined, as he was able to take advantage of specialized training at the GM Training Center located at Weber State University. Eventually, Todd longed for bigger and better things, looking for a new challenge in his career. It was then in March of 2000 that Dickerson Automotive opened its doors to the Spanish Fork, UT area. Todd’s vision was to provide friendly and reliable service to a community he truly loved in such a way where both the customer and his employees would feel warm and welcome. His vision of Dickerson Automotive was to bring the level of friendliness and customer service of an independent repair shop and combine it with the skill level and abilities generally found at the dealership. Todd loves being a part of Spanish Fork and the surrounding areas. Dickerson Automotive supports many youth and civic groups as well as community events that make this part of Utah County such a special place to live. Todd served as the 2017 Spanish Fork, Salem area Chamber of Commerce President and continues to serve his community to this day. In his free time, Todd enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, boating, camping, hunting, fishing, and home improvement. We hope to meet you in the near future!
