About us
Doerler Landscapes was founded in 1962 by William (Bill) K. Doerler and his wife Mary. Bill's immigrant family did not have enough money to send him to school. But his parents taught him that through hard work, you could reach your goals. So to obtain his degree in Ornamental Horticulture at Cornell University, he alternated semesters at school with semesters at work. Upon graduation from Cornell and after a brief stint as a pilot in the Air Force, Bill, his wife Mary and their 4 children started their family business. In April 2021, Gary Mozingo fulfilled a lifelong vision by purchasing Doerler Landscapes & Hidden Springs from the Doerler family. Gary has enjoyed a very successful career in the Green Industry over the past 25 years.
