About us
Dr. Ahmad Safra is a board-certified transplant and general surgeon. He joined Inova in 2021 and has been practicing since 2006.
Dr. Safra completed a fellowship in multi-organ transplant where he gained extensive experience in liver, kidney and pancreas transplant in addition to hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. During his training, he also developed a special interest in robotic surgery.
Dr. Safra strives to provide life-changing care to patients suffering from end-stage organ failure. He believes it is a great privilege to be able to utilize a person’s gift to transform another person’s life. He aims to provide the best quality of care for patients undergoing organ transplant.
