About us
Dr. Ashima Malk is a physician board certified in rheumatology with Inova Rheumatology. She has a special interest in management of autoimmune diseases such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, myositis, scleroderma, vasculitis and CTD-ILD (autoimmune lung disease). She enjoys working with primary care physicians and other specialists to help manage complicated patients with systemic illness.
Dr. Malik believes that early treatment can help retain maximum function and improve quality of life, and stresses diet, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to help control inflammation. Her goal is to treat every patient like family while providing excellent care using the latest treatment options.
